No Jab No Play 2020 Review Steering Committee

DHHS are seeking a consumer representative for this committee.


The committee will assess if the legislation is meeting its aim of improving immunisation rates, identify strengths and weaknesses of the legislation implementation and provide recommendations on any improvements.

Role of Consumer  

Ideally, the selected consumer has an understanding of the issues related to families with children in early childhood services, and the complexities and sensitivities of this project. You could be a parent or carer of a child in early childhood services, a family member, Kindergarten teacher or employee of early childhood services etc.

You will have the responsibility of overseeing the review of the legislation and provide insight on how the final report will be perceived by the community.

There will be a minimum of four meetings over a 12 month period, and there will also be some reading of committee documentation between meetings.

The first meeting is scheduled for Monday 14th October 2019, 9am – 11am  at 50 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne.


Payment of $235 per meeting plus an additional $20 for travelling expenses per meeting will be made via bank transfer.
