Graduate Certificate in Consumer and Community Engagement

The Graduate Certificate in Consumer and Community Engagement (10164NAT) is a four-day course for health service staff who work in the area of consumer engagement. The course will provide staff with the skills and knowledge to work collaboratively and strategically in consumer engagement services alongside consumers, health services, government bodies and other health-related organisations.

When will the course be offered?

The next course will run on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 July and Tuesday 31 July and Wednesday 1st August 2018

What have people said about the course?

The course is very relevant to my work and has helped me to understand the broader contexts for consumer engagement – human rights and social inclusion frameworks, for example. The course gives you the structures and theories of engagement to use to leverage change in your organisations. It help me make real improvements towards embedding the voice of our patients and consumers in the fabric of our health service, which will in turn strengthen health outcome in our community.
