Understanding Pelvic Mesh - Where To Next?

We would like to invite Victorian women to attend one of two face-to-face information sessions on Health Issue Centre's Understanding Pelvic Mesh Campaign, to be held at Health Issues Centre on Thursday, 21 September.

Your response to our survey on the outcomes of mesh implants has had a huge impact on health departments, regulatory organisations and minister’s offices nation-wide.

Based on your testimonials, our submission to the Senate Inquiry into Transvaginal Mesh Implants and Related Matters led to an invitation to address the Inquiry and generated significant media coverage and public awareness.

It also forced governments and regulators to act.

But this is nowhere near enough to address the legacy of mesh damage, let alone prevent ongoing tragedy.

We would like to report back to you - face-to-face and in full - on the current status of these initiatives and share our hopes and concerns for the future. We also like to answer any questions that you may have, and welcome any suggestions that you may have.

Please RSVP to one of the two sessions planned for Thursday, 21 September by clicking 'Select A Time' and then 'Register'.

  • Session 1: 1:30pm - 3:00pm
  • Session 2: 6pm - 7:30pm

Light refreshments will be provided.

How do I RSVP?

Please note: Some filming may be undertaken by Health Issues Centre on the day. All attendees will remain anonymous.
